Google’s Year in Search: Shakira, Jenna Ortega, and Pedro Pascal 

As the year draws to a close, it’s time to look back at 2023. This week, thanks to Google, we now have the top trends of 2023!

Google just unveiled its top trending lists, “based on search terms that had the highest spike this year as compared to the previous year.”

This year, Shakira was the most searched musician in the world. In 2022, it was Adam Levine, with Shakira not even in the top 10. And Actress Jenna Ortega and Actor Pedro Pascal made it to the top 5 lists of most searched actors in the world, for 2023, with, like Shakira, no mention at all on lists in the previous year.
